The Singelpark route is a beautiful new city walk in a loop along Leiden's canals. The Singelpark is an initiative of the residents and municipality of Leiden and is the longest, most beautiful and exciting city park in the Netherlands. The great variety of nature, culture and water makes this walk very special.

The Singelpark walk is a top experience with several highlights such as:

- Historical monuments such as the city gates The Silk Gate and The Morsch Gate;
- The stately Rapenburg and the Academy Building Leiden University;
- Mill de Valk, one of Leiden's old city mills
