MAY I JUST INTRODUCE MYSELF…

As a born and bred resident of Leiden, I have always been extremely proud of my city of Leiden. I actually describe Leiden as a cozy open-air museum with a lot of splendor. The canals and canals are beautiful in all seasons.

My roots are in Leiden and I know (almost) all the ins & outs of the city. In recent years I have become more and more interested in the history of our city and have therefore started to delve deeper into all kinds of facts and facts. Such as the development of Leiden in history, the story behind Leiden’s relief and October 3 and what characterizes the real Leiden resident.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and that is why I now organize city walks and tours through Leiden as a hobby. Many famous places in the city are characterized by rich historical stories and anecdotes.

I try to tell my stories with a lot of passion, content and a bit of humor.
