Plantsoen

The Plantsoen is a nineteenth-century city park in downtown Leiden.
Located on the former bulwarks along Zoeterwoudsesingel, the park offers a wonderful place to relax, walk or enjoy nature.

• The Plantsoen has a beautiful landscape style, with winding paths, rolling lawns, old trees and various plantings.
• In the park you will find several monuments and statues, such as the war memorial honoring the fallen in World War II and the statue of the poet Jacob Cats.
